Extrusion compounding is a composite method in which a molten resin is extruded through a die and coated on another substrate to make a composite film.


There are three main methods: single-layer extrusion compounding, tandem extrusion compounding, and co-extrusion compounding. Compared with other composite methods, extrusion compounding has the advantages of fast compounding speed, high production efficiency, and low processing cost. In recent years, with the development of resin materials and AC coating adhesives, extrusion composite products have been further deepened, and general-purpose to boiled products can be achieved by extrusion compounding. Extruded composite AC agents are mainly organic titanium series, polyurethane series, polyethylene imide series and polybutadiene series. Among them, polyurethane series AC agents have the best moisture resistance, water resistance and oil resistance. YH4501 is a one-component solvent-based extrusion composite polyurethane adhesive developed by Beijing Gaomeng Chemical Co., Ltd. to meet the needs of users. It is easy to use. It is suitable for the traditional method of random extrusion coating of polyethylene and polyethylene, aluminum foil, nylon, polyester, cellophane, etc., and can also be used as a primer for PVDC emulsion.

1. characteristic

1.1 Adhesion is good, can be used for pasteurization and transparent mixing resistant to boiling, less demanding aluminum foil compound, hot filling of fruit and vegetable juice, food packaging containing acetic acid and citric acid.

Add the diluent to YH4501, stir it well, and mix it before use.
3.2 Dry coating weight Depending on the application of the composite structure, the dry coating weight is generally 0.3-1.5Z/m2.
3.3 Working concentration It is generally recommended to use a concentration of 5-15%, which can be applied with a smooth roll or a wire roller.
3.4 Curing
After at least 24 hours after extrusion coating, the composite article can be re-wound and cut, and the bag must be made after all maturation, and generally can be fully cured at room temperature for 7 days.
3.5 Bonding Performance 3.5.1 Structure OPP20/INK/AC/PE20/CPE9-40
After being extruded and compounded for 30 minutes at 80°C, the peel strength is:
Lanmo District: 3N/15mm, OPP fracture;
Yellow ink zone: 2.8N/15mm, OPP fracture.
Heat seal strength:
Lanmo District: 30.7N/15mm;
Yellow ink area: 30.7N/15mm.
4. Precautions

4.1 In the extrusion coating of polyethylene, the bonding strength of YH4501 depends to a large extent on the processing technology of polyethylene. The key to the impact is the melting temperature, the air gap between the nozzle and the drum, the operating speed, the corona treatment level and the coating amount. A higher extrusion temperature can increase the adhesion but will reduce the heat sealability.

4.2 The glue solution is preferably used within 8 hours. After the remaining glue is diluted and kept in a cool place, the next day as a thinner, one after another, a small amount of new glue is gradually added to continue to use.
4.3 YH4501 contains isocyanate groups and splashes on the skin. Clean immediately.
4.4 YH4501 is not suitable for the coating of polypropylene and EVA copolymers.
